Younes is a Belgian entrepreneur and professional pilot whose international career has taken him from the Belgian Air Force to the United States, where he built businesses and developed a deep passion for American general aviation. After years in entrepreneurship and business leadership, he returned to flying in 2024 with a simple goal: to fully embrace the freedom and adventure that general aviation offers in the United States. He purchased his own aircraft and began exploring the country from the cockpit, discovering the incredible diversity of American flying—from coastal destinations to remote airfields and some of the world's most vibrant aviation communities. Today, Younes is a Certified Flight Instructor and founder of Island Aviation, specializing in aviation adventures throughout Florida and the Bahamas. His mission is to help European pilots experience what makes flying in the United States so unique: accessibility, freedom, breathtaking destinations and a welcoming aviation culture. A passionate advocate for American aviation, he regularly attends EAA AirVenture Oshkosh and remains actively involved in the U.S. pilot community. Through Fly Camp Europe, Younes brings his firsthand experience of flying in America and helps pilots turn their dream of exploring the United States into an unforgettable aviation adventure.
