What is Multi-Aircraft Flying?

Multi-Aircraft Flying is the art of sharing real aviation adventures with other pilots. Coordinate departures, routes and arrivals while flying your own aircraft safely across Europe. Think expedition flying rather than formation aerobatics.

Who is it for?

Private pilots who enjoy cross-country flying and want to experience the social and adventurous side of aviation. No previous multi-aircraft experience is required.

Expedition Skills You'll Develop

Learn practical expedition skills including mission planning, group briefings, radio discipline, timing coordination and multi-aircraft decision-making in real flying environments.

Your First Adventure

Brief together, fly together and discover new destinations with fellow pilots. From grass strips and scenic routes to overnight fly-outs, every mission is designed as an aviation adventure.

Who Can Join?

Suitable for licensed private pilots who are comfortable operating their aircraft and willing to embrace new flying experiences at their own pace.

The Adventure Includes

Mission briefings, multi-aircraft flying techniques, expedition planning tools, radio procedures, in-flight coordination and post-flight debriefings.

Beyond Multi-Aircraft Flying

Multi-Aircraft Flying is only the beginning. Future Fly Camp Europe modules may include Multi-Aircraft Leadership workshops, Formation Flying fundamentals and advanced aviation expeditions for experienced pilots.

FAQ

Is this formation flying? Yes... and no. In aviation, flying several aircraft on a coordinated mission is often referred to as formation flying. Multi-Aircraft Flying focuses on safe spacing and coordination, not close formation. Dedicated formation flying workshops may become available in the future for interested pilots.
